A busy life shouldn’t mean giving up a happy home.
You have a wonderful house cleaner and you’ve got child care covered – but your family’s busy schedule leaves you no time to do to take care of the little things. Laundry piles up, there’s no time to tidy and the lack of time for grocery shopping leaves you with take-out most nights of the week. Our services are designed to help your life feel a little less busy so that you can spend more time doing the things that you love.
This service is designed to take care of the small stuff so that you don’t have to.
Washing, folding and putting away laundry
Changing Linens and Sheets
Emptying garbages and recycling
Coordinating and waiting for contractors and deliveries
Light tidying, decluttering, and organization maintenance
Simple food prep
How Does It Work?
Laundry? Dishes? Tidying? Errands? Changing the linens? Our Household Support Services cover all of this and more!
Over and over again we’ve heard this: “I just need someone to come fold my laundry and run my errands! You know, stuff that the housekeeper doesn’t do!”
Delegating the small stuff makes a huge difference in the day-to-day routines of our clients. We work with your goals to ensure that the most important tasks are being done each week.
Why offer this service? Because we see the need for it every day! Parents in Seattle are working longer hours – and the work doesn’t end when they arrive home. After an extended work day, many parents arrive home just to continue the busyness instead of getting much-needed time to relax.
How does it work? To get started, we meet with each family for a consultation. We get familiar with your home, routines, and lifestyle and ensure that we are a good fit for each other. Together, we determine what package fits your needs best (decide between a two and three-hour block, either weekly or twice-weekly) and review basic tasks.
With you, we will fill out a preference packet that helps us to learn how you do things (For example: what temperature do you wash laundry on? Which items get hung dry vs. getting dried in the dryer? Which items at the store do you buy organic?)
Each week before our arrival, we recommend that a prioritized list is left for any special tasks that need to get done (Need a birthday party gift? Items taken to Goodwill?) so that we can make sure that the little things get completed.
Our Household Support Program requires a twelve week commitment of at least one service block per week so that we can establish effective and productive routines for each family.
Wondering if this program is for you? Visit our contact page today to set up your free phone consultation. If it’s a fit, we will go on to schedule an in-home meeting.
Please note: this program currently has limited availability. We may not be able to serve all interested parties at this time.
