I’m not super into resolutions.
I have been before, but they always flop. It just happens.
I do, however, now have a newfound appreciation for goals.
What’s different about a goal? One common goal that people set is a “S.M.A.R.T.” goal: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Frame.
Here’s a couple of things I am addressing with my goals this year that is different than I’ve done before.
- I’m going BIG – and maybe a little bit unrealistic. Why not shoot for the stars? You never know
- I’m using goal-setting tools. Check out this video to see what I’m using
- I’m scheduling time into my calender to work on the goals – and time to check in and review/reflect.
So, what about you?
Many people read this blog because they’re hoping to get organized this year. What happens when you break that down?
Are your goals centered toward decluttering, organizing, or both?
How will you support yourself in these goals?
How will you know they’re working?
When and how will you check in?
Just a couple of things to get you thinking. Email me and let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like info on in the coming weeks. I’m happy to answer any questions here — or even do a case study with suggestions for your space!
I’ve just done some super cool content on decluttering and organizing for the CCFL Global Academy. Want access? Click here to learn more and become a member.
