Spring break can be a crazy time in the life of a family. It messes with routines–sleeping, eating, cleaning up, homework–and those are only the beginning!
Because Spring Break is so close to the end of the school year, it can seem like there’s no reason to stick to things you’ve worked so hard on. Any habits that you tried to develop over the school year might seem like a wash. Why not just give up and wait until September?
The thing is, there really is no perfect time to start or refine a routine or set a goal. Sure, there are times where it feels natural–New Year’s, September for the new school year–however, if that timing worked THAT well, we wouldn’t always be struggling to create order.
What’s something that you would like to get done, but feel like it’s too late? Why does it seem impossible? If there is one thing that you can do to work something you want, what is it?
This is the tip this week. Think of what you want to do. Take a small step. There’s never a good time–or a bad time.
As always, I’m available by phone and email for your questions and appointment inquiries!
